Joining a Meeting as a Participant
Got an invite to an R-Link Studio meeting? This guide walks you through exactly how to join — whether you're on a desktop browser or using the R-Link Studio mobile app. No account required if you're joining as a guest.
The easiest way to join a meeting on desktop is directly through your browser — no app download needed.
- 1Click the meeting link from your email invite or messaging app — it will open automatically in your browser. You can also copy the room link and paste it directly into your browser's address bar.
Example Meeting URLhttps://studio.r-link.com/rallyThe last part of the URL (rally) is the Room Name — you'll also need this if joining via the mobile app. - 2The Pre-Launch Page will open. Here you can preview your camera, choose your microphone, and see the Room Name.
- 3Type your name in the name field.
- 4Click Join Meeting to enter the room.
On the Pre-Launch Page, make sure your camera and microphone are set correctly. You can toggle them on or off before joining using the icons in the preview area.
R-Link Studio has a native app available on both iOS and Android. You can join as a signed-in member or as a guest.

If you have an R-Link account:
- 1Open the app and tap Sign In under For Members.
- 2Enter your credentials to sign in to your account.
- 3Join the meeting from your dashboard or via the meeting link.
If you're joining as a guest:
- 1Open the app. Under For Guests, type the Room Name (e.g.
rally) and tap Join.
You can also find the room name in the meeting link — e.g.studio.rlink.com/rally - 2The Pre-Launch Page opens. Set your camera and microphone.
- 3Enter your name and tap Join Meeting.
On the Pre-Launch Page you'll see a Join as toggle at the bottom. Select Participant (highlighted in purple) to join as an audience member. The Moderator role is for hosts and co-hosts with a room password.
When the host starts a recording, all participants are immediately notified with a pop-up. This ensures everyone in the room is aware their audio and video may be captured.
You have two options:
